Our Process

To Begin

Assuming at this juncture that you have decided to retain Assurance Companion Care for your attendant care needs, on-boarding moves along quickly. The Steps To Take page outlines the process from start to finish, beginning with the first stage of working with Assurance Companion Care. Here we have established a list of needs and concerns, determine how much and what level of service is required of Assurance Companion Care (the care plan), and have likely determined a start date when services would be rendered.

The next stage is the client profile interview. We want to know all about the client we will be serving. The client profile consists of their likes, dislikes, hobbies, activities, daily routines, health problems we need to be aware of, people to contact in case of emergencies, completion of the client's Life Jacket, favorite foods and all the other particulars of importance. All this data will help our caregivers to efficiently serve the client's needs and will be present in the client book (on-site). The client book acts as a guide between shifts and tracks the level of care provided for our administrative oversight.

The caregivers are chosen, based upon the client's request and needs. The attendants are debriefed regarding the client's profile and come prepared to serve on the first shift. We can begin when it is in your best interest and wish for us to proceed.

Ongoing

At regular intervals we check in with our client and CoreCare participants to determine if the level of service is still appropriate. The care plan at anytime can be adjusted to add more or less service depending on the client's needs and wishes. We also perform impromptu and regularly scheduled evaluations of our caregivers to ensure the level of performance expected is met or exceeded.
